Happy Chinese New Year! Or should I say 新年快樂 (xīn nián kuài lè). To celebrate the Year of the Rooster, we’re mixing up a batch of delicious lychee martinis, a light, refreshing bevvie that has a gorgeous pink hue (how pretty would this be as a signature cocktail?). This yummy drink is courtesy of the mixologists at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Most specialty liquor stores should stock Soho lychee liqueur so it shouldn’t be too tricky to find.
Raise your glass and say ganbei! Here’s to a great year for all!
Tito’s Lychee Martini
1.5 oz Tito’s vodka
1/2 oz Soho Lychee Liqueur
3 oz watermelon juice
1.5 oz fresh sour
Combine all the ingredients with ices in a cocktail shaker. Shake, strain and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with a slice of watermelon.
