Make It Memorable (& Easy) – Napkin Decor

February 2, 2009 By: larissacomment

Happy Monday, Lazy Brides! Starting a new Monday tradition here called MIM(E) for Make It Memorable (& Easy) as we all know the little things are the big things that really make a wedding shine. Of course, being Lazy Brides, nothing featured here will require much effort.

I'm a big fan of dressing up the napkins at the dinner tables. Due to the sheer volume of them (along with the chairs and the rest of the table settings) they can really make an impact on the overall look but with little cost or work.

Having a tropical or beach wedding? Consider tying a baby pineapple with a piece of grass around the napkin to add a fun and unusual twist. Pineapples were highly prized during Georgian and Victorian times, being the rarest of fruits so they are right at home on a well-laid modern table. And a baby pineapple? Well, who wouldn't 'ooh' and 'aah' as they are so darn cute. Unusual, unexpected and uncommon – guaranteed to make your event decor memorable!
