Photobooths are a bit craze at weddings now. And why not? They give everyone a chance to have fun and capture wacky moments of frivolity. Those old-tyme coin photobooths are available for rent in most parts of North America and are usually fairly affordable. Here are links to a few that service the US:

As I live and work in Costa Rica and do not have access to these fab photobooths, we decided to come up with our own spin on it. Taking inspiration from a wall in Grandma’s house, we had a piece of plywood papered using a damask print. Two holes were cut out and framed. Photos of the bridal couple, their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were hung on the wall with care. A frame with white fabric covered the back ‘three walls’ of the booth. Add in a chair, a basket full of whimsical props and 160 people who were having more fun than you could shake a stick at and…voila! Photobooth wackiness ensued!
A huge thanks to Comfort Studios for their great photos.
Those old-tyme money photobooths are available for lease in most parts of Northern The united states and are usually quite cost-effective.
