Recessional Music

March 31, 2009 By: larissa1 Comment

After you’ve kissed, been announced as husband and wife and turn to face your guests, it’s time for your big exit. Your recessional music should be up-tempo and celebratory (think of it as your “really big finish”). The music continues to play as you’re followed by your wedding party and parents.

This is a great list of wedding recessional music. I just had a long conversation on twitter last week with some other wedding planners, talking about the most unique recessional songs we’ve heard throughout the years. My top two would have to be “Hells Bells” by AC/DC and the theme song from the “Peanuts” cartoon 🙂
